The great gig in the sky

When I was 15 years old I wanted to be an astronomer, I think that dream last till today.
I loved to stay in my bedroom, with the lights off and watch the stars and the moon from my window, specially those nights were the moon was full. It was stunning. I started to dream about myself in an observatory with another astronomers watching the stars, the planets, galaxies, black holes and stuff like that. I felt very curious about all the things that happen in the universe, because there are a lot of things.I also dreamed with find a new planet and earn a lot of money with that, but the money wasn't really important to me in that time, I just wanted to be in front of a big telescope and listen Pink Floyd, as I am doing now to write this post. I also liked to stick those phosphorescent star in my bedroom's ceiling. When I was 16, I got a real telescope, I was 3000 times more than happy, I can't explain it now, but that day, I was really really happy. I couldn't wait until night arrives and when that happend I was ready with my telescope in my bedroom's window. I already had a book about astronomy, so I new that the brightest star in the sky was Sirius, I saw it perfectly. Then I saw Saturn with its rings, which were so very clear that I could distinguish its colours. Finally, I couldn't see the moon because it was new, but it didn't matter, I could see it another day and hen I finally saw it with the telescope, it was the most beautiful thing that I have never seen I my life, I think I cried xD.
Well, with the years, that dream was dying down, the subject related with astronomy were too difficult for me, and to be honest, I didn't like them either, the science wasn't my thing.
Now, I still love watching the sky, but I will never earn money with that.
